Ensure that you know the basics, plus more on the company you are apply to.
- Clearly detail the position being applied for
This needs to go into the first paragraph to let the reader know the position you are applying for.
List your reasons why you are best suited to the role e.g. past experience, qualifications etc.
- Make sure that you sell yourself
Following on from your research, make sure you convey your skills for that particular job.
For example, if the company is looking for someone with great Project Management skills, tell them about your skills/achievements in this area.
